Come and get the unique chance to discover Novartis, the second largest pharmaceutical company worldwide! The new headquarters of Novartis in Basel boasts buildings by some of the world’s most famous architects. 

As Novartis describes: “The Novartis Campus in Basel is a place of knowledge, innovation and encounter. More than 2,500 scientists and over 7,500 employees from more than 100 countries are working here on the vision of a long and healthy life. “

Since we are sponsored by Novartis the event is for free and we get the chance to not only see the campus and a production facility but also learn something about training and opportunities at Novartis.

The event will be followed by dinner and drinks in the beautiful town of Basel.

Friday, October 18

• 15:30 Meeting at Basel SBB, official meeting point in the main arrival hall
• Taking all together the tram to the Novartis Campus
• 15:50 Arrival at the Novartis Campus
• 16:00 – 18:30
  • Introduction and Presentation: Training and Career Opportunities at Novartis
  • Campus Tour
• Dinner and drinks in Basel city
• Open end :-)

Participation fees

The event is for free for all the participants, as Novartis will sponsor the visit. However, the train ticket to and from Basel, as well as dinner and drinks will have to be paid privately.

Checklist – Remember to Bring

• Your identity card so Novartis can verify your name for entry to the campus. We need your full name to register access to the campus, so please list your full name (as shown on ID) in the Comment during registration.
• Cash for paying dinner and drinks.
• Lots of energy and your best smile!

Registration information:

The number of people already registered for this event is 12. The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 18 (plus 2 organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to prioritise IAESTE Switzerland affiliates during the first 48 hours of registration. If your registration is not among the first 18, it will be put on the waiting list.
