IAESTE Switzerland administers the search for qualified foreign trainees for about 100 companies and universities in Switzerland each year. A service which is free of charge for the employers.

For every internship we can offer to a foreign trainee, a Swiss student has the possibility to do an internship abroad. By offering one internship you enable two students to gain valuable practical experience abroad and broaden their horizons.
Open Offers are internships that the Swiss employers offer for the IAESTE exchange and for which we place a suitable student from another IAESTE member country. The administrative work is handled by IAESTE free of charge.
Reserved Offers are internships that have not been placed by IAESTE as part of a 1:1 exchange. Swiss migration law stipulates that trainees from Non-European countries, Bulgaria, Romania as well the EU-8 states, who have applied for an internship directly at a company, must apply for the visa/work permit through an exchange organisation such as IAESTE.
