Feldschlösschen is the largest beverage manufacturer and distributor in Switzerland. The Feldschlösschen Brewery in Rheinfelden began operations in 1876 and today produces every third litre of beer brewed in Switzerland.

The Augusta Raurica open-air museum is situated on the oldest known Roman Colony along the Rhine with significant archaeological artefacts excavated and open to the public.

The IAESTE Zurich Local Committee invites you to a tour of the Feldschlösschen Brewery with complementary Beer and Pretzel and a visit of the Augusta Raurica Outdoors Areas.

Program

Saturday, 9th June 2018

• • 10:45 am – Arrival at the Feldschlösschen Brewery “Red Meeting Point”
  • 11:00 am to 1:15 pm – Feldschlösschen Brewery Tour with complementary Beer and Pretzel
  • 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Visit of the Augusta Raurica Outdoor Areas (or Departure)
  • After 5:00 pm – Something Spontaneous for Track 7 Travel Card holders (or Departure)

Meeting Point

• The “Red Meeting Point” is located near the intersection of Theophil Roniger-Strasse and Froneggweg.

Participation Fee

• With SBB General Abonnement (GA):  10 CHF
• With SBB Half-Fare (1/2) and Track 7:  15 CHF
• With SBB Half-Fare (1/2) only: 15 CHF
• Without an SBB Travel Card: 15 CHF

A surcharge of 5 CHF applies for participants not affiliated with IAESTE.

The participation fee is payable in cash at the start of the event.

We recommend purchasing the SBB Half-Fare Travel Card at an SBB Ticket Counter or on the SBB Website if you don’t already have one.

• Train from the Feldschlösschen Brewery to Augusta Raurica

Not Included in the Participation Fee

• Lunch
• Transport to Rheinfelden Station and from Kaiseraugst Station 
• (Optional) Visit of the Augusta Raurica Indoors Museum

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration:

• Less than 12 hours before the start of the event (10:45 pm on Friday, 8th of June), the entire participation fee remains payable
• 12-24 hours before the start of the event, 75% of the participation fee remains payable
• 24-48 hours before the start of the event, 50% of the participation fee remains payable
• More than 48 hours before the start of the event, 25% of the participation fee remains payable

Registrations will open immediately and close at 10:45 am on Friday, 8th June 2018. We require a minimum of 13 participants for this event to be viable.

The number of people already registered for this event is 11. The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 18 (plus 2 organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to prioritise IAESTE Switzerland affiliates during the first 48 hours of registration. If your registration is not among the first 18, it will be put on the waiting list.
