Let your curiosity run wild. With more than 500 phenomenal exhibits over three floors, Technorama really has something for everyone. Who would have thought that learning could be so much fun? Set your gray matter to work and discover whole new worlds.

Have a go – the experience will be physically and mentally phenomenal. The only rule here is “hands-on, brains-on”!

Program

Saturday, November 27

  • 11:45 Meet at Bahnhof Oberwinterthur 
  • 11:52 Take bus 5 to Technorama (stop called Winterthur, Technorama)
  • Have lunch together, get to know each other, and prepare for the excitment!
  • Visit Technorama (open till 17h00)
  • Go home in amazement and with lots of stories to tell :)

Participation fees

The participation fee is CHF 17. Transportation there and back is NOT included! 

If you do not yet have a SBB half-fare card, we recommend you buying one! Check the SBB website!

A surcharge of 2 CHF will apply for participants who are not affiliated with IAESTE or its partner organisations.

The money will be collected at the start of the weekend . Only cash is accepted! :-) Please bring EXACT change. 

Included in the participation fee

  • Entrance to technorama

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration
  • less than 12 hours before the start of the event (that is, 00:00 Friday 27 November), you pay the entire participation fee
  • 12-24 hours before the start of the event, you pay 75% of the participation fee
  • 24-48 hours before the start of the event, you pay 50% of the participation fee
  • after confirming but before 48 hours before the start of the event, you pay 25% of the participation fee

Checklist - Remember to Bring

  • Cash for paying the participation fee
  • Your lunch (you can also eat at the cafeteria if you want)
  • Your transportation ticket. 

Meeting point and train connections

  • Meeting point at Bahnhof Oberwintethur @ 11:45
  • OR at Technorama @ 12:00
  • If you have a Zurich zone 10 ticket, you only need an "anschlussbillet" for 4 zones. 
  • If you're coming from somewhere else, buy a ticket to "Technorama, Winterthur".

Registration

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 30 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 30, it will be put on the waiting list.
