IAESTE Rheine Fall and Schaffhausen Day
May 15th 2010

The biggest waterfall in Europe awaits you!

With a width of 150 m, a height of 23 m and a water throughput of 700 m3/second the Rhine Fall is not going to leave a dry eye, and in fact more than that might become a bit wet when we take the boat to the middle of the river and climb on top of the rock that’s been sitting there for ages, watching time and water pass by...

As an extra treat, we’ll walk along the river to the lovely city of Schaffhausen and visit its landmark, the Munot. The fortress was built in the middle of the 16th century, and once part of the fortification of the city now days hosts balls and concerts.

The official part of the weekend ends after the guided Munot tour at 16:00; you’re free to decide if you want to round up your day with a walk through the city and try the local cuisine or move on home or somewhere else...

IAESTE LC Zurich invites you to experience all of this!
