IAESTE Alpamare Day

In a big city there are lots of places where you can have fun, rest, and get some feelings of extreme.  But only in one place you can do all of these at the same time.

This place is called Alpamare!

Alpamare is the biggest covered aquapark in Europe. Alpamare is an excellent mood, only positive emotions, adrenaline and 365 days in a year of the everlasting summer. Alpamare has 10 different slides for people who like high speed, danger and adventure as well as for those who prefer gentle and snug routes. Some of the slides are widely known for their special lighting and water effects. We invite you to spend a perfect day in the most exciting and at the same time very comfortable aquapark. Four hours of extreme and joy!

  • 14:00 General meeting point at the Meeting Point of Zurich Main Station
  • 14.54 Arrival to Alpamare
  • 19.00 Going back

Participation fees

The transportation is not included in the participation fee.Gleis 7 can be used on the way back. For people travelling from Zürich who don't have Gleis 7 we recommend to buy a ZVV 9 Uhr pass which would cost 11.50 CHF.

  • With SBB General Abonnement (GA):35 CHF
  • With SBB half-fare (1/2) and Gleis 7: 35 CHF
  • With SBB half-fare (1/2) but no Gleis 7: 35 CHF
  • Without SBB half-fare (1/2): 35 CHF

If you do not yet have a SBB half-fare card, we recommend you buying one! Check the SBB website!

A surcharge of 5 CHF will apply for participants who are not affiliated with IAESTE or its partner organisations.

The money will be collected at the start of the weekend. Only cash is accepted! :-)

  • The transportation tickets

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration
  • less than 12 hours before the start of the event (that is, 14.00 PM, Friday), you pay the entire participation fee
  • 12-24 hours before the start of the event, you pay 75% of the participation fee
  • 24-48 hours before the start of the event, you pay 50% of the participation fee
  • after confirming but before 48 hours before the start of the event, you pay 25% of the participation fee

  • Cash for paying the participation fee
  • Swimming suit
  • Towel
  • The ticket from your home town to the place called Pfäffikon SZ, Seedamm-Center
  • Lots of energy and your best smile!

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 25 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 25, it will be put on the waiting list.
