IAESTE Vineyard Weekend
September 26-27, 2009
Neuchâtel is hosting the bigest vineyards fest in Swiss Romandie - here is your chance to experience it as a part of an IAESTE weekend.
The Swiss wine region has about 15 000 hectares of vineyards and the wines are produced mainly in the west and south parts of Switzerland.
The wine production is around 100 million litres per year of which less than 2% is exported. The rest ends up on the domestic market. :)
Did you know that Neuchâtel is in the middle of what is known as "The Watch Valey"? The museum visit will show how local people have been "playing" with precize mechanics centuries ago.
