IAESTE invites you to see this amazing factory in Central Switzerland, near Luzern.

Here is a brief description of the company:

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd was founded in 1939 and iscurrently world market leader of single-engine turboprop aircraft. Itis the only Swiss company developing and producinh private and trainingaircraft.
At the headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, Pilatusis licensed to maintain and perform  upgrades on a variety of aircraft.This service is complemented by three independent subsidiaries inAltenrhein (Switzerland), in Broomfield (Colorado, USA) and Adelaide(Australia).
With over 1,100 employees at its headquarters, Pilatus is one of the largest employers in Central Switzerland.

Program

Thursday, October 29th

  • getting to Stans (meeting points in Zurich HB, Lucerne and Stans)
  • 14:00 - 16:30 guided tour
  • getting back with a stop for a drink in Lucerne (optional, but recommended :))

Participation fees

The train and bus ticket from your town toStans, Pilatuswerke (yes, they have their own bus stop) is at your own expenses. Please buy the tickets before you cometo the meeting point.

The cost is CHF 0.00, so all you pay for is your train ticket. However, mind the cancellation policy.

A surcharge of 5 CHF will apply for participants who are not affiliated with IAESTE or its partner organisations.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration
  • less than 72 hours before the start of the event (start is, 4 PM, Oct. 29th 09), you pay 10 CHF
We beliefe you understand that this shall merely prevent people from signing, but not showing, up.

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 30 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 30, it will be put on the waiting list.
