How many time in the year that  you get the chance to taste in the same place food from 5 continents… and well depending on how many people come there will be food from many many different countries.

The annual International Evening in Basel is an event where trainees bring their national dish with them to an evening where they will be able to immerse themselves in an international atmosphere and enjoy a musical tour around the world!

This year we cooperate with Aiesec and Erasmus students by holding the party together at  the Skubar, one of the most popular student’s bar in Basel.

Highlights

  • International dishes from every corner of the globe
  • Music spanning all genres, languages and cultures
  • Last but no least: International Drinks!
  • The event will end at 23pm (the food area will be closed then). Afterwards we can continue the party at Skubar where you can buy drinks and enjoy the party.

Checklist - Remember to Bring

  • Bring something from your country to share with everyone. Please write in the registration remarks what you will bring.
  • Please bring approximately as much food as you would eat yourself. Well it doesn't have to be exactly that much. But please, surprise us!
  • There will be NO KITCHEN to warm up stuff. Please bring the food ready to eat.

Meeting point and train connections

  • Meeting point is Basel SBB train station meeting point (left to the escalator, close to the phone boxes) at 20.30. There will be an LC member leading you to the location.
  •  Meet at Skubar at 21.00

Registration

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 50 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 50, it will be put on the waiting list.
