What is an Industrial Sight?

In the past, trainees have said that they wished that they had more industry exposure during their time in Switzerland. To respond to this need, IAESTE created "Industrial Sights", for the first time in the summer of 2001. Industrial Sights is designed to take trainees to different companies and introduce them to different technologies. The trips are designed to last between 2 and 4 hours and will cover the basic areas of that particular company. Don't be scared; this is not school!

Program

The visit will take place at Alstom's rotor factory in Birr on the afternoon of Friday, August 28. We will have a guided tour through the modern rotor factory of Alstom. As well as a presentation of the company Alstom.
