Graduates / Guest Students
The Swiss Universities are not paying any contribution for the placement of guest students. It's still possible for those students to participate in the IAESTE program if the student pays a higher participation fee: CHF 700 (instead of CHF 400). Though, IAESTE Switzerland prefers to give traineeships to Swiss students since guest students are already on an exchange abroad. We recommend that guest students contact their home country, IAESTE is represented in over 80 countries all over the world. You can fnd the email address of each IAESTE country here: www.iaeste.org.
Graduates
Graduates who are not enrolled at any university anymore at the moment they register with IAESTE can do a traineeship if they pay a higher participation fee: CHF 700 (instead of CHF 400). As for guest students, the Swiss Universities are not paying any contribution for the placement of graduates (exception: graduates of Institutes of Applied Sciences receive up to one year after their graduation a contribution from their school).
