IAESTE Activity Weekend
March 27-28, 2010

LCs of Zurich, Basel and Lausanne will meet for the Activity Weekend in order to organise the events for 2010, to participate to Workshops and discuss different matters about IAESTE, to introduce new members and also to enjoy some activities together!

This year the weekend will take place in an isolated house in the mountains, next to the village of Rüti bei Riggisberg (Bergheim STB). Here is the picture of the house, with the map in order to access it !

Program

On Saturday we'll have different presentations and workshops. You will choose which one you want to take part according to your interests, and we'll share the workshops conclusions all together at the end. We'll also decide the program of the events for this year. And to finish this day properly: a dinner and party ;)

Sunday morning will be dedicated to the last workshops and presentations. After cleaning the house, we'll have a relaxing afternoon outside, walking up to the hill next to the house. In case of really bad weather, we'll take the bus to Bern at 13.00.

Saturday, March 27

  • 11.20: Arrival at the house
  • 11:30: Warm-up games and NO presentation
  • 12.30: Lunch
  • 13.30: Workshops & presentations
  • 15:45: Photo Session
  • 16.00: Discussion of the answers & voting decision
  • 16.30: Summer events and activities
  • 19:00: Dinner and social program :-)

Sunday, March 28

  • 08.00: Breakfast
  • 09.00: Workshops & presentations
  • 11.00: Cleaning the house
  • 12.00: Lunch and social program
  • 16:28: Bus from the house to go back home...

Participation fees

The fees will be covered by our LC. As concerns the transport ticket and fees, check with your LC for reservation and reimbursement. NB: Keep your tickets !

Checklist - Remember to Bring

  • Sleeping bag
  • Slippers for inside the house
  • Good ideas for events you want to organize and your agenda
  • Good shoes to walk outside (the paths might be wett...)
  • Your IAESTE spirit ;)

Registration

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 40 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 40, it will be put on the waiting list.
