IAESTE Yearly Dinner

Dear Members of IAESTE,

This year, LC Lausanne has to pleasure to organise the famous yearly dinner. To start the festivity in a good and sportive mood, we invite you to spend some time on ice, trying out your balance and acrobatic skills at the Malley sport centre :

And after the dinner will take place in a more exotic place :-), at the Taco's bar, where you will enjoy some Mexican food, and later a live Blues concert and in case you haven't had enough, play pool.

The LC's and the National Office invite you to experience all of this, in order to thank you for the great work done during the year !!

Program

Saturday, November 21

  • Meeting at the train station, at 16:45
  • Going to Malley
  • Ice skating till 18:30
  • Dinner from 19:00
  • ... up to your mood !

Organisation

Ice skating is optional (you'll have to mention it during registration), but we hope many of us can join!

Travel and ice skating costs will be paid by each member, check with your LC for contribution (you should receive an email from your LC soon...)

  • Entrance (student card / group / individual) : 5.- / 5.50 / 7.-
  • Shoes renting : 4.50 / - / 5.50
  • Bus (1/2 / full) : 4.- / 5.20

The dinner will be some fajitas menu, or Mexican pasta for vegetarian. It will be offered by your LC, and the drinks by the NO, except hard alcohol and cocktails.

A few sleeping places will be offered by the members, on bed and some for which a mattress is needed. First comes, first served... Please bring your sleeping bag, and your camping mattress if you have one.

In case you prefer a more comfortable place to sleep, you might want to check out the youth hostel or the backpacker.

Checklist - Remember to Bring

  • Your ice skates if you have some
  • Student card
  • An extra T-shirt in case the ice skating gets too intensive
  • Cash for paying ice skating costs and eventually your hard alcoholic drinks or cocktails.
  • Sleeping bag and mattress for the night
  • Lots of energy and your best mood :-D

  • Ice skating: Meeting point at the SBB station in Lausanne in the main hall (meeting point), at 16:45.
  • Only dinner: Meeting point at SBB station in Lausanne in the main hall (meeting point), at 18:45. Same train connections (but not same track!) 2 hours later...).

Registration

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 40 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is not among the first 40, it will be put on the waiting list.
