This year's Member Ski Weekend will take place in the Berner Oberland. It's intended as an event for the members of the LC's Basel, Lausanne and Zurich and old friends of IAESTE in Switzerland.

Note that Basel and Zurich are taking the same train from Spiez and we meet Lausanne on the train in Zweisimmen. For those who might be late and need to find the hotel themselves: map.search.ch
After leaving our luggage we go up to the mountains on the snow.
The price for the lodging will be around CHF 15.- per person for members (due to the contribution from the LC) and is CHF 45.- for trainees and guests. Included in the price is the accommodation, dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning.
Everybody has to buy their own train ticket including the skipass for 1 or 2 days, preferably at least one day in advance in order to avoid being late on Saturday. The prices for Snow-and-Rail tickets are as follows:
| Departure from | S&R with 1-day ski pass (with 1/2) | S&R with 1-day ski pass (without 1/2) | S&R with 2-days ski pass (with 1/2) | S&R with 2-days ski pass (without 1/2) |
| Basel | CHF 87.80 | CHF 141.80 | CHF 122.20 | CHF 176.20 |
| Zurich | CHF 92.- | CHF 133.40 | CHF 126.40 | CHF 167.80 |
For the Lausanne members: There are some offers for Snow-and-Rail available from Bern for the price of CHF 66.- with and CHF 90.- without Halbtax for 1-day ski pass and for the second day the price is extra CHF 34.40. So try to calculate what would be the cheapest option for you.
If you do not yet have a SBB half-fare card, we recommend you buying one! Check the SBB website!
The money will be collected at the start of the weekend. Only cash is accepted! :-)
